A Rough Guide To Thai Cuisine

Here is a brief guide to some of the more popular Thai dishes to give you an insight into the food before you eat out.

Tod Man- Fried fishcake.

Panang- A dry curry that can be made with most meats.

Pad Kaphroa- Beef, pork or chicken stir fried with basil.

Pad See Ew- Noodles fried in oyster sauce, served with beef, pork or chicken.

Red Curry- A curry made with red chillies.

Green Curry- Curry made with green chillies and flavoured with cumin.

Massaman Curry- A yellow curry that usually contains beef.

Satay- Grilled meat served with peanut sauce.

Khai Soi - rispy noodles in sweet chicken curry soup.
